Mr. Wim De Vos
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES


Mr. Wim De Vos

Wim De Vos was born in Mechelen (Belgium) in 1965.
He obtained a ph.D in literature from the KULeuven and specialized in Communication Sciences at the Università dello Stato di Bologna.

He was responsible of the exhibitions, publications and press contacts of the Royal Library of Belgium from 1995 to 2003. He was also vice-president of the Flemish Library and Archives Association.

In 2004, he became communication manager service of the Royal Belgian Institute and the Museum of Natural Sciences. His main activities focus on the popularisation of science, establishing links between on the one hand, the collections and the researchers of the Institute, and, on the other hand, the public activities of the Museum.
