TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR REGISTRATION AND ATTENDANCE AT TBIH2025
By completing the online registration and checking the “I confirm” box, the registrant (“Participant”) agrees to abide by the following Terms and Conditions set forth by the event organizer (further “Organizer”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
Participation in the conference is subject to the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any such changes will be published on the event website.
2. Personal Data and GDPR Compliance
All personal data provided during registration will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR). The Organizer commits to safeguarding the Participant’s personal data and using it solely for purposes directly related to the organization and execution of the conference.

3. Photography, Videography, and Media Use
By attending the conference, Participants consent to being photographed and filmed. The Organizer may use such materials for promotional and marketing purposes, including publication on the event’s website, social media, and future promotional content. This includes images, video, and audio recordings where Participants may be visible or audible.
4. Conduct and Behavior
Participants must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times during the event. The Organizer prohibits any form of discrimination, harassment, or behavior that violates fundamental rights and public freedoms, including but not limited to discrimination based on gender, race, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, ideology, disability, age, or sexual orientation.
Any behavior endangering the safety of individuals or property, or disrupting the event, may result in the immediate removal of the Participant from the conference without refund.
5. Liability for Damages
Participants will be held liable for any damage or harm they cause, whether intentionally or unintentionally, to individuals, property, or equipment at the conference venues. Such incidents may result in legal proceedings in accordance with applicable Spanish law.
6. Security and Personal Belongings
Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The Organizer accepts no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to the event venues. Participants are also requested to ensure that they do not leave any items behind at the venue.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Organizer will not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to travel disruptions, loss of earnings, or other personal expenses incurred as a result of attendance or inability to attend the conference.
8. Force Majeure
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes). In such cases, efforts will be made to inform Participants in a timely manner.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
